Old Prairie Campground is shaded by large oaks and palms. The campsites are not far from the log cabins and the Myakka River. | |||||||||

| An easy quarter-mile walk up the Park Drive takes you to a bridge over the Myakka River. It is a good spot to look for wading birds and alligators, and is a popular location for fishing.
The nature trail is a short walk north of the bridge, where you will also find the Canopy Walkway. |
