Park Hours

The park is available for day-use every day, from 8 AM until sunset. Since the sun sets at a different time every day, please check with the park staff when entering the park for the exact time the park closes at the time of your visit.

Though the park is open until sunset, the Myakka Outpost has more limited hours:

  • Summer Hours (June 1st - Dec. 15th) : Mon - Fri: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. , Sat & Sun: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Winter Hours (Dec. 16th - May 31st) : Mon - Fri: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. , Sat & Sun: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Additionally, the park is open 24 hours a day for those who make camping arrangements. Please see the "Camping" section of this website for further information.
