Myakka Outpost
Myakka Outpost sells camping and fishing supplies, T-shirts and hats, field guides, nature books and souvenirs.
The Outpost is located at the boat basin at Upper Myakka Lake.
You will find unusual things to eat, such as 'gator stew and alligator jerky, along with more common fare like drinks, hot dogs, ice cream and snacks.
You can also rent bicycles, canoes and kayaks.
- Summer Hours (June 1st - Dec. 15th) : Mon - Fri: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. , Sat & Sun: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Winter Hours (Dec. 16th - May 31st) : Mon - Fri: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. , Sat & Sun: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

$20.00 For the first hour, $5.00 each additional hour.
A deposit of $ 50.00 cash or a Visa, Master Card or Discover card is required.

Single and tandem bikes deposit may be $ 40.00 cash or a Visa, Master Card, or Discover. 4 Person Quad deposit is a credit card only. All renters must show a valid ID at the tie of rental. Rental partys must have an adult of at least 18 years of age.
