THE PLANTS OF MYAKKA RIVER STATE PARK

The wide variety of habitats (ranging from wet marshes to welldrained scrubby flatwoods) throughout Myakka's 37,000 acres support a diverse and interesting flora. This list includes 743 species of native and non-native (exotic) plants and was compiled from a collection of plants made primarily over the past fifteen years.
